Day 2: C-FC thumps Hope girls

The Cochrane-Fountain City girls basketball team allowed just five points and held Hope Lutheran scoreless over the final twelve minutes of the first half in a 50-13 trouncing at the 29th Annual Lewiston Auto Warrior Club tournament at McCown Gymnasium on Saturday.

Kerrigan Lyga, coming off of an 18-point performance on Friday, scored a game-high 12 points, while Meghan Wenger had 10 and Rylee Gabel finished with nine.

Kayla Kamrowski pulled down a game-best nine rebounds for C-FC, with Gabel right behind her with eight.

Just five players scored for Hope Lutheran (4-7), led by Alex Ludford’s five.
