Day 2: Caledonia douses Winona boys

Owen King drilled six 3-pointers on the way to a game-high twenty-four points as the Caledonia boys basketball team dominated Winona Senior High School 86-57 in the 29th Annual Lewiston Auto Warrior Club Tournament at McCown Gymnasium on Saturday.

Caledonia (7-1) took a 50-18 lead into the halftime locker room and never looked back as Kyle Sorenson and Gavin Schroeder made it three players scoring in double figures with 20 and 14, respectively.

Winona (2-8) also featured three players in double digits, led by P.J. Appicelli’s 17 and ten apiece from Kale Milek and Donald Ells III, who finished with 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Justin Berg led the Warriors with seven rebounds.
