Cullin Neeck scored a Day 1 high 28 points as the Lewiston-Altura boys basketball team doused Hope Lutheran 74-40 in the 29th Annual Lewiston Auto Warrior Club Tournament at McCown Gymnasium on Friday.
Neeck scored 12 fewer points than the Hope Lutheran team and added six rebounds for good measure.
Eleven different players scored for L-A (4-7). Logan Knutson and Peyton Schumacher both accounted for nine and Bradley Miller, a member of the Patriots team a year ago, finished with eight and five rebounds for the Cardinals.
The game was not only a showcase for Neeck, as Hope Lutheran’s Andrew Fratzke putting on an impressive display, himself. The senior led Hope (1-8) with 23 points and eight rebounds, while only Hunter Zenk managed as many as five for the Patriots.
